Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) is to launch a massive campaign through the combined opposition to win relief for the people.
Opposition and UNP Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe said the combined opposition would commence the campaign shortly.
Wickremasinghe made this comment during a visit to the Hultsdorf area in Colombo to speak to the traders and consumers.
He inquired from the traders and consumers about the increasing cost of living and assured action to win relief for the people.
The Opposition Leader charged that one family in the country flourished while the rest of the families suffered.
He alleged that the government was digging treasures while the people were digging their graves due to the inability to win the battle for survival.
Wickremasinghe warned that strict action would also be taken against any party member who does not participate in the combined opposition campaign. You are also welcome to find a guesthouse in Sri Lanka
